Revenue Manager Jobs Vacancy in Company Tiong Bahru Estate Jobs Details:

Reporting to the Vice President of Revenue Management, the incumbent shall be responsible: -

Revenue Management

  • To ensure effective use of forecasting tools for guest rooms and meeting rooms availability control and pricing
  • To maintain a consistent selling strategy across the Central Reservation system (CRS), Property Management System (PMS) and third-party online systems, ensuring maximum use of availability controls in all systems
  • To apply an appropriate overbooking policy and educate team to accept through qualified bookings
  • To assist hotel management in the revenue decisions by highlighting opportunities
  • To check competitor strategy on a regular basis, reviewing pricing and their availability
  • To analyze production statistics and track information to identify potential business and market trends
  • To identify potential new opportunities to improve revenue performance
  • To assist hotels to maintain and change room rates/inventory when required
  • To provide strategic analysis and input for the Director of Revenue Management & Director of Sales & Marketing
  • To ensure accuracy of all reservations and other data in all distribution channels
  • To conduct quality control checks in PMS to ensure data accuracy
  • To ensure that all rates are loaded by accurate completion of rate databases
  • To monitor automated revenue management system, IDeaS, decisions, interpret its forecast and decisions

Team Development
  • To develop team members’ skills and performance through coaching and training
  • To ensure communications meetings are held within the reservations manager and their team
  • To implement an effective training plan with the team to develop personnel to their full potential
  • To conduct performance reviews with team members as means of motivation and development
Brand Website Development
  • To involve in regional marketing programs and related products for online delivery such as:
  • Regional Promotions/Packages
  • Hotels’ Promotions
  • Database Management/Marketing
  • To develop eMarketing strategies for assigned portfolio
  • To plan and implement e-commerce projects and micro-sites as online marketing platforms for purpose of communicating promotions and events, online booking, customer data collection and online branding
  • To implement and monitor online marketing programs effectively
  • To work with Global/Regional eCommerce Team to effectively plan and implement Search Engine Marketing/Optimization activities to improve ranking of APAC websites/microsites on search engines
OTA Partnerships Development
  • To manage Online Travel Agency accounts ensuring their compliance with M&C’s E-commerce strategy
  • To ensure that every OTA website displays correct information at all times
  • To manage approved OTA partners Internet listings
  • To ensure hotels comply with the company’s terms and conditions regarding internet distribution strategies
  • To ensure hotels’ audit compliance
  • To produce channel performance reports on a monthly basis
  • To produce regular SWOT analysis of costs, highlighting any threats and opportunities
  • To ensure assigned hotel is positioned on the first page of 50% of all TPI websites
  • To use up-to-date methods and appropriate procedures with regards to technologies and costs
  • To build and maintain effective working relationships with key clients
  • To ensure the OTA website adhere to the best rate guarantee
  • To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
The incumbent is preferred to possess a degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management with at least 5 years of relevant experience in revenue management in the hospitality industry. Prior experience in the hospitality industry especially in sales and account management/ yield management/ distribution channel management would be advantageous. Beneficial attributes would be a self-starter, team player, analytical, organized, attention to detail, ability to think on the feet and good knowledge in hotel reservations processing. He/She should possess a positive working attitude, flexible, outgoing, ability to prioritize work, effective time management, good commercial awareness and possess excellent Microsoft Excel and communication skills.
