Manager Iii Customer Engineer Jobs Vacancy in Applied Materials Inc Singapore Jobs Details:

Supervises the daily activities of central field operations and administrative in supporting functional business process, corporate initiatives and field service operations teams. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities across departments and supervisors. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from manager. Generally does not required to perform the work supervised Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the regional Central Field Operations function and supervises the employees for priorities setting in supporting functional business process, corporate initiatives and field service operations teams
  • Streamline and optimize the team operating rhythm and efficiency to provide business intelligence related support to fulfill department business demand and enable data driven decision making
  • Centralized resource planning and management for the region in supporting business growth
  • Coordinate the work activities across SSC department in supporting regular corporate cadence and requirement (QRAM, CMT, QAR, OPS Review, QBR, Strat Plan, GBAM, etc.)
  • Interacting with various stakeholders within headquarter (OCE, BSA, BD/Marketing, GCC, etc.) for corporate initiative planning, deployment and adoption
  • Strategic alignment across matrix/peer organization (GFG, Quality, EHS, Training Center) for strategic project management/execution, corporate compliance and ISO audit requirement
  • Execute to regional staff operations requirement in supporting regional SSC Leaders for business & operations coordination and alignment
  • Develops personnel to include training and career development; manages the performance management process to include the development of team and individual goals, implementing employee development plans, and coaching
  • Functional Knowledge
    • Demonstrates understanding and application of procedures and concepts within own job family and basic knowledge of other related job families.
    • SAP knowledge preferred

    • Acute business sense for strategic prioritization and execution in supporting business demand
    • Applies understanding of how the team relates to other closely related areas to improve efficiency of own team
    Leadership
    • Has formal supervisory responsibilities; sets priorities for and coaches employees to meet daily deadlines
    • Prior experience in Operations planning, manpower/budget management and project management preferred
    Problem Solving
    • Uses judgment to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems
    Impact
    • Impacts the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team and its contribution to the business unit, department or sub-function
    Interpersonal Skills
    • Uses tact and diplomacy to exchange information and handle sensitive issues
    • Fluent in English, Mandarin for both writing and communication
    • Excellent presentation skills with ability to interact across departments and HQ
    • Good influencing skills for strategic communication/execution between the peer/matrix organization
    Qualifications Education & Qualification
    • Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred)
    • >5 years of experience in High Tech sector
