As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible to lead the contract management services for medium/large size and complex projects for the Local Business Unit / Product Group, ensuring all contract management activities are executed on required standardsJoining in Singapore and reporting to the Operations Manager, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to: • Ensure that the portfolio of contracts follow contract and claim management methodologies in accordance with internal standard procedures. • Review the commercial and technical tender terms and conditions, and develop contract strategy based on necessary standards. • Identify the contract baseline and highlight the areas of potential risk. Also, ensure timely and accurate execution of commercial aspects in portfolio of contracts. • Verify that both parties of contract have fulfilled their contractual obligations and no responsibilities outstanding. • Support Legal in handling formal dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration. • Support drafting of Purchase Orders, Contracts and Subcontracts, and ensure that relevant (sub) contracts contain appropriate contract terms. • Analyze contract terms to highlight areas of potential opportunity and risk such as ambiguities, omissions and conflicts. • Degree in Engineering/Electrical or Instrumentation • Must have 5 to 10 years of Legal and Contract Management experience in Electrical and Instrumentation projects. • Experience of handing offshore & onshore power generation projects of high complexity or value (25MUSD) and knowledge of international trade rules and regulations including ASEAN, and well versed with local and regional procedures. You must have strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills (verbal and written) and implement strategies for identified categories.
