We are looking for someone who bears the following skills and qualities:
a dynamic multi-tasker who is able to juggle various responsibilities, such as the day-to-day operations of a travel business and ongoing marketing campaigns/EDMs;
the ability to perform well under pressure given the nature of a start-up environment;
the ability to create engaging content (e.g. video, blog, social media) for our website and other digital marketing platforms (e.g. facebook, instagram, etc.);
has exceptional writing skills – for crafting travel articles, engaging captions for social media posts and editing content/descriptions of the destinations and journeys we offer, to be uploaded on the website, social media platforms or sent to clients. The applicant will also be required to respond to enquiries from clients or correspond with our partners;
very good at microsoft word, powerpoint, adobe photoshop and indesign (or the usual photo/video editing tools available);
flexible and responsive attitude – given that we are a start-up, job descriptions tend to evolve to include other roles. The applicant will be involved in the start-up’s business development – in particular, our expansion into other destinations, tie-ups with other like-minded brands and/or development of new brand concepts (e.g. merchandise, wellness retreats, travel pop-ups, seminars, etc);
ability to conduct thorough travel and business-related research, whether of the industry or our destinations in general or of our competitors, with the ability to conscientiously analyze any research findings and prepare reports on the same; and
has a genuine interest in travel as an industry, so as to be able to craft content or produce work which is engaging and have a sense of what travellers might look out for in our journeys.
Indicative Remuneration: S$2,000 to S$3,000 + Variable bonus component tied to profits generated from trips
