Production Lead - Singapore
My client are a well-established international company with a strong presence in Singapore. They manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients, oral solid dosage, inhalation and sterile drug products using a large array of manufacturing platforms.
They currently have a requirement for a Production Lead to be based on their Solid Dosage facility in Singapore.
As Production Lead, you will lead a team of 15 direct reports, in delivering safety, compliance, operational and technical requirements for the Pharm IPT shopfloor shift technicians.
·Works in shift to ensure oversight and support to the shift
·Leads a module to meet KPIs for operation performance: including customer service, customer satisfaction, VSM cycle time targets, RFT targets
·Manages personnel performance, employee development and technical skills of the team to meet the compliance & strategic requirements of the business
·Manages module shift resources to ensure the IPT meets targets, including those related to production schedule and financial targets
·Identifies and initiates improvement (A3) activities to improve performance, overall IPT efficiency, cost structure and how the shift operates
·Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, including cGMP and SHE requirements, and SW is aligned accordingly
·Drives and leads Behavior Change and Consequence Management (BCCM) in the shopfloor
·Leads problem solving reviews in modules and ensures rigorous root cause analysis are properly applied
·Manufacturing Excellence - Shift Operations, Continuous Improvements, Module Ownership
·Quality / SHE Stewardship
To apply for this position you should have:
·5+ years of operational experience in pharmaceutical industry
·Experience in one or more functional roles including API or Pharmaceutical manufacturing, technical operations, engineering with adequate experience in planning and scheduling of manufacturing operations
·3+ years experience in personnel supervision in a production environment
·Diploma or Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
·Lead KAIZEN and other process improvement activities/projects
·Good knowledge of Solid Dosage manufacturing
·Knowledge of module operations
·Good knowledge of cGMP and safety guidelines
·Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodology
·Good knowledge of lean six sigma
·Good knowledge of formal root cause analysis techniques, including 5 whys and KT analysis
·Ability to communicate effectively with shopfloor staff and exhibit empathy
