We are looking to hire a Social Media Manager for FOX+ (Asia’s new video streaming service that offers movies, series, live sports and documentaries across different devices).
You will work within the regional FOX+ marketing team, championing the amazing FOX+ content has to offer on social media and building our brand amongst entertainment fans. The role is a blend of creative, planning & execution. We are looking for someone who loves movies and TV shows, can speak passionately about the entertainment business, is naturally up to speed on the latest buzz, has an excellent understanding of social media and a flair for creativity.
Be the resident social media expert, advising the regional and local marketing teams on how best to use the different social platforms
Run the FOX+ Instagram, Facebook & YouTube accounts, from planning the monthly content to coming up with creative ideas that stand out and engage our fans
Producing basic creative assets to post across our social media channels, whilst also working with our internal video editing team and agency to develop bigger creative campaigns
Plan the social media monthly calendar according to new shows, movies & sports coming onto FOX+, as well as the cultural trends happening
Constantly thinking of new social media formats to try and putting forward ideas of how we can use them for FOX+
Community manage our social media pages (but don’t worry you won’t have to answer the service questions, just the fans who want to have a banter)
Working closely with Google and Facebook in Singapore, keeping up to date with the latest product innovations and partnership opportunities
Set the tone of voice and brand personality of FOX+ across all our social media presence
Report on the performance of social media activity, highlighting what’s working & improvements that can be made
We need someone who can put forth big ideas, lead the creation of stunning creative and write spot-on copy
Good eye for creativity, continually thinking about how to push the creative & innovation boundaries
Experience of working with in-house or at an agency to deliver social media campaigns, build a brand in social media, and developing communities on different Social Media platforms
Expert knowledge of social media platforms and how best to utilise their unique attributes
Have general understanding of broader marketing, PR & other digital tactics (i.e. search)
A good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, and Photoshop) is a definite plus
You’re organised, able to multitask and work at a fast pace
Fluent in English and ideally in either Chinese or Tagalog
A knowledge of the culture in Singapore, Philippines or Taiwan is a plus
A love of movies and TV shows (and sports is a plus)
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, whilst also able to collaborate with others
Entrepreneurial spirit, full of initiative, enjoys working at pace, positive attitude & high attention to detail
Excellent collaborator, able to build relationships with other teams in different departments
Candidate must be curious and a self-starter
Comfort with a fast-paced start-up environment
