As a Service Sales Manager for Motor and Generator services, you will be responsible to ensure successful implementation of the service sales strategy, and to profitably achieve qualitative and quantitative targets for life cycle management, service products and solutions. You will be involved in analysing service market potential, with full focus on installed base (IB) penetration and ensure customer relationship management.Reporting to the Service Manager, your key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: • Create, plan and implement service sales strategy by increasing the installed base (IB) penetration, effectively utilizing ABB tool/database and promoting value add service product offerings. • Ensure achievement of service sales targets, provide cost effective solutions to the customers and initiating improvement plans as needed. • Collaborate with the Service sales team to generate and identify service sales leads by analysing the IB potential and target those new IB opportunities from emerging trends with the Service solutions available. • Establish long term customer relationships with key customers and decision makers by understanding the requirements and exhibiting high expertise in technical solutions and products. • Responsible for feedback on sales development, distribution of resources for service sales activities and the current status of the market. • Monitor client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams. To be considered for this role, you must have a degree or diploma with minimum 10 years of sales experience. In addition, you must have at least 2 years of experience in service sales of machinery or electrical equipment to end users and 3 years of experience in Motor and Generator industry. Candidates applying for this role must have prior experience of managing sales teams.
