Responsible for spectrum management and frequency coordination of existing and new Singtel’s satellite orbital slot in accordance to the ITU Rules & Regulation. Responsible to evaluate & propose solution for technical operational parameters in frequency coordination meetings with affected administrations in accordance to ITU RR.
Responsible to drive Singtel’s interest on space-related agenda in local study group, regional and World Radio-communication Conference. Responsible for capacity sourcing, planning, optimization, testing and coordination between customers and satellite operators. Management of frequency assignment on owned or leased satellites 6)Monitors monthly traffic expense and generating utilization reports for Singtel and 3rd party’s space capacity. Perform assessment of satellite footprint performance and satellite capacity procurement from 3rd party satellite operators Provide recommendation of satellite capacity for pre-sales solution submission. Responsible for program management & negotiation with satellite manufacturers for new satellite program. Lead a cross-functional team for new satellite’s design, manufacturing and launch program. Involve in Space and Ground segment design review meetings, review test plans, specifications and procedures for new satellite program. Prepare progress updates, reports and business plan on new satellite program implementation Provide recommendations and follow-up actions with vendor
The ideal candidate should possess: Engineering degree in communications or equivalent Experience in project management, satellite operation and ITU frequency coordination Experience in IMDA frequency regulatory and satellite technology. Certified Project Management Professional preferred Have self-initiative to perform assigned tasks Possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and able to work independently and as part of a team.
