Trimble is recruiting for a Regional Compliance Manager to fill an opportunity in Singapore.
The Compliance Manager engages in customer software licensing, compliance, and audit activities. Covering all compliance issues facing the business and coordinating with the Corporate Licence Compliance team in HQ. This is a regional role based in Singapore office, reporting directly to Area Director.
The successful candidate must be able to:
Develop, maintain, and execute compliance engagement strategy and process that balances of intellectual property, customer relationships, revenue recovery, and other cross functional needs.
Review the effectiveness of compliance activities, and drive for necessary improvement to compliance coverage.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess product, contract, and relationship specific risk factors for each customer engagement.
Maintain effective relationships with other compliance team and resources. Acting as a regional point of contact for SEA area in license compliance
What it takes: Minimum requirements:
6 Years experience in software industry with both technical and contractual exposure.
Excellent contract interpretation, negotiation skills, and direct customer facing experience are core to this role.
Extremely strong organization and productivity skills to seamlessly manage multiple complex engagements simultaneously.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required.
Strong understanding of software technology, licensing, and controls with ability to understand and interpret nuances of software license agreements and contracts.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills required; attentiveness to detail.
Professionally persistent, patient, respectful, honest, and strong under pressure, especially during occasional adversarial conversations.
Previous Compliance or Software Asset Management experience.
Up to 20% travel required.
