Roles & Responsibilities

Sanofi strategic direction is currently to harmonize and standardize practices and simplify the organization to foster a new “One Sanofi” way .

This represents a strategic opportunity for a Global SC & IA Transformation through the SCCore Program to:

  • Design standardized E2E processes to generate business value for the Group and deliver best in class collaborative solutions to our Customers
  • Deliver innovative state of the art tools enabling Supply Chain as a Global Function
  • Secure SC functionalities in SHIFT program and ensure consistency of business and IT architecture

The SCCore Program covers Business end-state and IS solutions for the Supply Chain & Industrial area, and is articulated with SHIFT Program .

This program is structured around key transverse topics and 5 main streams :

  • Transverse: Business & IT Architecture, Roadmap design and value case, PMO, Change Management and Master Data Management
  • 5 main streams: SC Planning, Distribution (transport & warehousing), Customer service, Manufacturing and Analytics/BI

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this context the main duties of the S&OP/Forecast Business Deployment Expert AJAPC are:

Lead the implementation of the S&OP/Forecast processes on business side in alignment with SCCore roll-out strategy and roadmap

  • Lead the site readiness assessment for the S&OP/Forecast process focusing on business & organizational aspects
  • Drive with the support of his ITS counterpart and of key users to the Core Model assessment and Local Design adoption by:
    • Performing the fit/gap analysis and defining the needs for localization with the objective to stick as much as possible to the core model
    • Defining agreed local business requirements and contributing to the functional specification writing
  • Define local workaround when required
  • Make sure that the needed documentation (SOPs) are updated and available before Go Live
  • Drive the end-to-end user acceptance testing: testing plan, strategy & testing material localization, UAT execution support
  • Support the MDM, Data Quality and Data Migration activities
  • Provide support to users post go-live

Be the advocate of the Core Model and minimize the needs for localization

  • Work in collaboration with the S&OP/Forecast ITS Deployment Counterpart to ensure the core model is agreed to and the localization are kept to a minimum
  • Challenge any localization requirement with the support of the Core S&OP/Forecast Stream

Ensure buy-in from local business representatives while supporting the change management and growing capabilities

  • Engage with Business S&OP/ Forecast Stakeholders to ensure early buy-in according to implementation approach
  • Collaborate with the Central Change Management team and the Business Deploy Manager to organize the change management actions
  • Drive the Change Readiness Assessment and the “Growing Capabilities”
  • Drive the end-to-end training management: strategy localization, planning definition, training material localization, end-users training

Contribute to overall value realization for the S&OP process

  • Ensure the value realization is enabled along the implementation by:
    • Running the initial performance assessment
    • Ensuring Value Realization ambitions are clear
    • Ensuring KPI’s are implemented and performance measurements trackers are implemented
  • Perform post go-live maturity assessments and define improvement action plans

Contribute to securing the roadmap and supporting project management on its stream

  • Manage business-related project activities for the S&OP/Forecast stream and ensure deliverables are delivered in time
  • Identify risks and propose Mitigation plan
  • Escalate relevant issues and risks to SCCore Supply Chain Planning Deploy Project Leader AJPAC
  • Guarantee the roll-out methodology and deployment kit is applied for his stream and region
Requirements

Educational Background

  • Master Degree in Business Management/Supply Chain or Logistics

Professional Experience

  • Demonstrate a good track record in the S&OP/Forecast area, preferably in a Pharmaceutical / Consumer Products industry
  • Strong Knowledge in SC planning and Operational Experience in S&OP/Forecast min 5 years
  • Hands on experience on managing complex stream processes and with experience of implementing such processes
  • Experience in tools like, SAP APO, Manugistics, Rapid Response, E2open, etc.
  • Experience translating business needs into process and implementation requirements in an IT implementation environment
  • Experience working in program mode
