Roles & Responsibilities

The Training Manager is responsible for developing and implementing training programmes for the company. He/She conducts orientation sessions and other in-house training. He/She evaluates the training needs of the company and plans training programmes accordingly.

New Hires Training (50%)

  • To schedule and conduct Training for New Hires
  • To plan and create training curriculum/schedule in a manner that is efficient and productive to maximize TSE’s time
  • To record and document all training activities and results
  • To ensure all training manuals are kept updated whenever there are changes to products and processes
  • To conduct a Post-Training survey to identify areas of improvements
  • To provide training based on the following curriculum:

1.) Introduction

2.) GI Products Training
3.) System Training
4.) Sales Governance Deck
5.) PDPA Training
6.) Soft skills Training
7.) HI Certification Training

Refresher Training (30%)

  • To create an action plan on the refresher training schedule at the start of the year to ensure front-end operatives achieve their yearly CPD training hours
  • To log training hours in iTraining to keep track of CPD hours allocated
  • To cover at least one Product or Regulations training every quarter
  • To conduct RCSA briefing once every 6 months
  • To ensure refresher training incorporates the newly required compliance guidelines as and when updated

Training Support (20%)

  • To keep Product Checklists, Call flows and Sales governance deck updated on Powermax for TSE’s daily use
  • To update summarized deck and mock papers for BCP, PGI & HI
  • To manage Wizlearn account to ensure resigned staff access are removed promptly
  • To track training courses and CPD hours attended by Telesales
  • To provide QA coaching to all TSEs for Trainer to identify areas of improvement and to understand Telesales gaps
  • To conduct QA calls on non-closure (10 days per month) to identify areas of improvement
  • To handle all customer complaints and investigation as an independent party and to identify areas of improvement and have a holistic view of Telesales gaps


  • Minimum A Level / Diploma in any discipline
  • In-depth understanding of insurance regulation and compliance guidelines
  • Possess BCP, PGI, ComGI & HI certifications
  • Strong and well-versed in Ms Office
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Training function
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in Telesales
  • Effective communicator with good command of English
  • Ability to communicate positivity and able to capture attention
  • Good attitude with a positive mindset
