We have a 30 year history of manufacturing apparel to the UK and EU. We are now taking our first steps into retail. This is a great opportunity to be part of a new area of our business.
Responsibilities: To ensure efficient operations and provide support to the office and connected warehouse.
o Receptionist Duties:
o Greeting clients and visitors when needed. (Coffee and Tea)
o Answering the phone and directing calls.
o Incoming and outgoing mail by post.
o Booking couriers
o Printing services
o Scheduling appointments
o Ordering food for visitors.
o Receiving and managing deliveries for connected warehouse.
o Microsoft Office Skills to include creating Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint.
o Updating and checking computer records.
o Filing and paper management.
o Maintenance of office supplies
o Record minutes of meetings and distribute.
o Setting up meetings by phone, email or text.
o Making travel arrangements, booking taxi’s.
o Sales support by email and phone, can liaise issues back to management to resolve.
o Liaise with our other offices in Singapore and Bangladesh by phone or email.
o Liaise with all members of the office and communicate effectively daily issues that may arise.
o Keeping office and warehouse organised and tidy.
o Printing out orders for warehouse staff.
o Tracking of orders to be released.
o Organise dispatch or collection of daily orders.
o Extra duties only when necessary to include:
o Process an order for dispatch.
o Some warehouse duties, maybe required to check, measure and pack garments.
o Upon receiving a warehouse delivery you may be required to help unpack and stack garments in absence of warehouse staff.
o Provide admin support to ECOM sites. (uploading style information).
o Stock control duties.
Applicant must have 3 years of relevant experience and recent references that we can contact.
History with apparel and e-com companies is preferred.
- Minimum of diploma level education.
- Communication skills. Must be fluent in English both oral and written.
- Telephone - must be able to make local and international calls.
- Good front of house manner, friendly and energetic disposition.
- Computer and typing skills. Microsoft word, Excel, Email, Internet.
- Must have experience using a digital management system. We will provide training for ours.
- Keen to help and get involved.
- Problem solving skills.
- Research skills (can find out information on the internet).
