SENIOR CONSORTIA SALES - JOB DESCRIPTION: works in collaboration with the global consortia services manager as well as regional heads of sales and account management, our senior sales are primarily responsible for:

  • The direct sale of Sabre hospitality solutions products and services within a defined territory.
  • Self-starter who understands how to actively prospect, identify and qualify opportunities and drive consultative interactions to solve customer challenges.
  • Provides technical product information/demonstrations linking value back to customer’s business strategy and required outcomes.
  • Ability to quickly understand the customer's business needs and add value by quantifying how our solutions will save the client money or time and/or drive additional revenue performance.
  • Delivers against challenging but realistic sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Works with internal architects, product marketing and product managers to ensure deals are delivered as promised and commercial opportunity is maximized.
  • May be asked to maintain relationships with assigned TMC accounts.
  • Providing data-based consulting services to subscribers aimed at driving more consortia program sales.
  • May be asked to assist the consortia manager with the execution of the Marketing/events Calendar.
  • With limited direction, may plan and develop prospect and customer marketing campaigns, webinars and training.
  • Upselling relevant Sabre products and services as necessary.
  • May represent Sabre Business Travel Advantage program hotels at trade shows and citywide events, as necessary





Job Requirements


EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 8 years related experience. Experience in hotel or procurement sales, account management or corporate travel management is required.

  • The ability to work in a self-directed manner, recognizing and seizing opportunities to drive both value to the customer and revenue for the company
  • High degree of software proficiency using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce is required
  • Proficiency with Sabre Hotel RFP, Nexus, Lanyon, and other RFP solutions is highly desired
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Role involves frequent travel
